New feature - free Phonics International certificates

Post by debbie »

A selection of free certificates is now available - just press the button in the left-hand column of 'units' buttons on the homepage (see above the 'members' log-in button).

More to follow - for example, A5 versions to cater for whole classes and groups.

We're also thinking of producing some adult 'professional development' certificates - for example, for schools where staff meetings are held featuring the contents and use of the Phonics International programme - or for special recognition of staff members who lead and support the use of the programme in schools.

Please don't hesitate to make further suggestions for the certificates range.

The certificates are great! Thanks again...another wonderful resource!

Maybe a grapheme/phoneme spotter certificate? To be given to children who continuously 'find' 'spot' 'hear' particular graphemes/phonemes out of phonics lesson time.

For example - when we would take the children out on trips we would see who could 'spot' the most graphemes....and then try to read that word. Of course many of the words may have been too difficult for them to read...but the game encouraged them to 'find' the sounds they had been learning but in a real life context.
