I have made some revisions to the original EARLY YEARS STARTER ACTIVITY SHEETS (for units 1 to 6) - located near the bottom of the EYSP webpage.
The focus grapheme is presented on a writing line - and lines are provided to rehearse writing the new grapheme.
The 'phonemic awareness' printed words are replaced by colour pictures - which also serve to enrich vocabulary especially for young learners and learners for whom English is a foreign language.
This is in response to Hannah Hogan's suggestions having used the original sheets very successfully with her Chinese-speaking students in China. Hannah reduces the ACTIVITY SHEETS to half size and prints them off as booklets for her students.
Hannah, one of our accredited Phonics International trainers, has also been very busy making video translations and written translations in the Chinese language to support parents of students learning to read and write English using the Phonics International programme. These should be available shortly.
