A short video relevant to the 'learning styles' theories

This is a short and interesting presentation about 'learning styles' which I think is well worth watching. It is presented by Professor Daniel Willingham, University of Virginia.

I agree entirely with the conclusions that 'good teaching is just good teaching' and that teaching methods and resources should be relevant to what is being taught - not adapted to the apparent learning style of each student!

Thanks to Jim Curran who flagged it up on the UK Reading Reform Foundation website message forum at www.rrf.org.uk .
