These days I still work closely alongside Debbie - we run a small selection of specialist two-day training events in Newbury, Berkshire each year. Sometimes I still train under the umbrella of her company if she needs a trainer to deliver her programmes on her behalf. However, after carefully listening to what teachers' want from a training provider I am now thrilled to bring my specialist synthetic phonics training company to your attention. I am accredited to deliver OUP's Floppy's Phonics and Phonics International but have also developed my own training course of professional development for synthetic phonics - Transformational Phonics Teaching.

Although I openly promote Floppy's Phonics and Phonics International as my recommended programmes of choice, I acknowledge that many schools still follow the DfE document Letters & Sounds, or don't yet know which programme to follow. Transformational Phonics Teaching is designed to provide you with in-depth, generic content that enables you to use any synthetic phonics materials in your school. My ethos is 'enabling teachers to make their own professional and informed choices'. I want to equip you with the knowledge and skills to teach in the way that works for you and your students.

Another great feature of my courses are the time built into the day to focus on you. I allocate time purely for offering 1:1 or group support, to listen to you and provide my guidance.
