I've added a link to this article via the thread featuring Anne Glennie's formal petition urging teaching-training in the systematic synthetic phonics teaching principles in Scotland. Sadly, wrongly, this petition has now been 'closed' - those in authority in Scotland clearly don't know what they don't know - and this is so, so upsetting.
