Here is an approach for introducing Aa to Zz letters linked to sounds with the three core phonics skills and their sub-skills for pre-schoolers 3+. I provide my rationale and a PowerPoint for transparent review about these two cumulative books:

These are being very well-received and can be followed by a full systematic synthetic phonics for the 4+ year olds.

David and I have now made the two 'Phonics and Talk Time' books available as printable pdfs alongside the 'Teeny Reading Seeds' range of resources.

This combined material is available for only £10 as an annual licence!
