The link above is no longer available as it relates to the previous government in England.

The Phonics International programme, however, passed the current government's 'Core Criteria' as a rigorous, systematic synthetic phonics programme. It is one of only seven mainstream programmes which are promoted in the 'match funded' catalogue - the government's phonics initiative for schools in England to purchase programmes, training, decodable books and phonics resources.

Phonics International is also in the match funded catalogue as suitable to be used as an intervention programme.
