Meeting Grace Vilar & Coral George: a 'blast from the pa

Post by debbie »

Coral George and Grace Vilar are the most incredible ladies. My admiration for them and their work knows no bounds.

This page is a real 'blast from the past' - the very first time that Coral introduced me to Grace. We have all never looked back as close friends and associates in our work to promote evidence-informed reading instruction and systematic synthetic phonics around the world.

This link is from a redundant (original) Phonics International website:

Elizabeth Nonweiler, who popped in my home (at that time) to meet Grace, is another long-time friend and colleague. Elizabeth also trains in systematic synthetic phonics provision in the UK and internationally and we are both on the committee of the UK Reading Reform Foundation.
